Restaurante O Forno

Every time we visit Restaurant O Forno we are always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The food and service are excellent. They serve traditional Portuguese dishes and a good range of meals that you don't find in other restaurants which makes a refreshing change all at very reasonable prices.

Such a lovely spot. Felt like family. Had jerk chicken and the corn on the cob dish. Both were amazing. Really nice and cozy outside. A great stop for after a lighthouse sunset.

We have visited this place several times the last months on Madeira. The good thing is that they never disappointed us and are always very consistent in their quality. Last time we even noticed they had a really nice upgrade at the terrace by repainting all in fresh but warm colors. Outside always protected from any wind, so enjoying your drink or food whilst enjoying a great sundowner is no problem. visit this place and experience it yourself.

This restaurant is a true gem hidden away in the little village of Ponta do Pargo. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is welcoming and the cook? Based on the bowl of vegetarian chili I had, the cook is amazing. All the right flavours packed in to one scrumptious bowl of comfort food. And it's not even the only vegetarian/vegan option on their menu! Will go definitely go back here.

We went for a local and most recommended dish and not regretting! It was a very delicious, well done beef :P The place is also very cozy, offers a big variety of specialties.
