Miradouro do Fio

Heading towards Ponta do Pargo, you can stop here to see the 400 m cliffs and the picturesque coastline. It is impossible not to notice hundreds of lizards basking on the stones. It's also interesting at the top. A less popular place, so when you are in such a place alone with nature, you will love it!

Viewpoint with gorgeous views on a quite different landscape than the more eastern part of the island. The sea looks different, the hills are shaped in another way. Definitely worth a short visit if you are in the neighborhood. There is a small parking but people come and go quickly so it will probably not be full.

Definitely worth the drive, the views are spectacular and the tea house right next to it is very nice even though the prices are a bit touristy but to be expected in this location.
