Arrival was very efficient, but departure today around 9 is a nightmare; no escape from endless full lines, very dangerous with the C19 virus becoming more contagious! It should be possible for the airport to know in advance how many persons will check-in (with data of leaving passengers per airline) and then plan enough personell to be available at peak hours

Amazing "little" airport by the ocean! Easy access to it and close to Funchal (30min drive +/- by car). Bus and taxi services are available.

Super efficient both ways, including the Covid testing where applicable. Better than the UK!

Great for a small airport all you need ..organised and friendly staff and you can get outside and watch the aircraft come in and leave on the runway right next to the sea.. awesome
