Aquaparque Madeira

It's a park with slides and pool. Very funny for family and all around. Be careful. Water is warm and compensate for windy sometimes.

Great fun and so affordable!

Pretty good. As others have said in reviews the water can be cold but it's not that bad. By lunchtime the sun has warmed it up. It can be a bit windy but it wasn't unpleasant. The slides are good and varied there are nice ones for small kids and others for older teenagers and adults. Try the black hole it's a fast slide in complete darkness. Great fun and listening to the screams is half the fun. There are plenty of supervisors watching for unsafe behaviour and it seemed well organised and safe. It can be busy and queues can be long for the slides but it was fine the Thursday I attended. There are shops at the side selling food and there are toilets nearby. Sunbeds can be hired for 3euros a piece. Note there isn't a great amount of shade so bring sun protection and hats etc. If getting a taxi there ask for them to pick you up at a specific time to save hassle getting home. Overall i'd recommend it.
