Pizza Café

Two weeks ago on Sunday we as family went to see the carnival. I bought Ice cream from this restaurant for my family. The ice cream they sell is off and tasted horrible. Tasted like it had melted and frozen again. It was tasteless and smelled off. Becareful what other things may be off in this restaurant.

At first we had to wait about 15 minutes to even get noticed, then after we got the menu we were ignored 10 more minutes. To top the to that point miserable experience my dad got apparently missunderstood and got that way a wrong pizza. I would not consider him as a picky eater, but he just couldn't eat it. I, myself had chosen something with "Pepperoni", which turned out to be Pepperoni-Salami and not Pepperoni (the green or red hot-pepper thing). We actually spoke out and complained and got a refund for the missunderstood pizza. Otherwise I'd had given one star because the pizza itself wasn't tasty aswell (really oily and thick (if you like that this might not bother you)). Supermarket Pizza > this here

We sat outside and enjoyed the nice atmosphere of the pedestrian zone. It took about 15 minutes until someone noticed us and another 45 minutes until two pizzas (4 seasons and Pizzaiolo) were served. Canned mushrooms and peppers were used for the pizzas and both tasted flavorless. For the price of about 10 Euros each I expected fresh ingredients.

That totally wasnt the best pizza i have ever ate. It was too heavy and fat. Onion was overcooked and salami was probably bought in supermarket. If u are very hungry - come and eat, but if u want to eat something fresh and natural - its definitely not your place.

This is by far the worst Pizza I have ever had which was also expensive by Madeira standards. My friends and I decided to have three different pizza's in the afternoon when the place wasn't even busy. Although we were hungry, we still couldn't eat more than a quarter of our pizzas which was a shame as we hate wasting food as well as we were making our way to the airport afterwards. Cheap canned ingredients which had no flavour whatsoever even after we added our own hot sauce and olives. A disappointing way to end our holiday.
