Pestana Porto Santo

Outstanding hotel ashore of the most beautiful beach in all the world.

Very nice place, very good rooms, I can't put 5⭐because for 5600€ a week in August for the pool villa you expect better food (it s under average at best) and the TVs are very small, the service is very good in general. Also the microwave in the room wasn't cleaned for a long time, it stink. The other thing is that there is no privacy from the pool of the "villas". The restaurant is the big issue here.

Pestana Porto Santo is the place for the best possible holidays you could get in Europe. Amazing beach, warm water, amazing weather, everyone is very welcoming. Definitely a place to repeat.

Stayed with my boyfriend end of September 2019 for a week. We really enjoyed ourselves. Room was fantastic. It was my birthday during the stay and they left cake and champagne in my room! Around the pool they also remembered me saying it was my birthday a couple of days prior and presented me with more bottles of wine! The beach was beautiful. You had to pay for the beds but plenty of room if you didn't want to pay. There were free to use wind breaks if you wanted them. We went horse riding and snorkeling during our stay and would recommend, great fun. There are themed restaurant you can use during your stay. There is a generic restaurant for the rest of the time. Nice but a better variety of food would be nicer but certainly didn't ruin our stay by any means. Lovely holiday. I would definitely recommend this time of year if you want something a bit quieter and cooler.
