One of the best spots to see the view from calheta and watch a perfect subset during summer when there are no clouds.

We did this hike on Christmas day 2019 and we started from the other side of the island meaning we walked about 15km. But, oh boy, it was well worth it! The way up was beautiful but once we got to the top, the view of Porto Santo is breath taking. The walk itself wasn't too difficult, about 4 km uphill but apart from the last 2 it was pretty much asphalt all the way. Definitely would recommend!
