I always enjoy my stays in this hotel. The setting is wonderful with amazing expansive views over the valley which can be enjoyed from the restaurant, breakfast room and all the guest rooms at the back of the hotel. The facilities are good too; I love the pools and the spa area and the gym looks very good too. The lobby is cozy and a pleasant place to spend the evening. You can have drinks and snacks brought to you and there are games to hire as well as a pool table and a TV too. Breakfast is reasonable and the rooms are spacious and well equipped although a little dated. There are some lovely scenic views a short drive from the hotel and the motor museum is interesting and just across the road. It is a perfect place to have a short break getting away from it all!

Excellent facilities, food, staff and comfort areas. Definitely good value for money. Our room was spacious with table, mini fridge, TV and comfortable chair with also dressing table chair. Comfortable queen sized bed and bedside switches for all the lights, also for the air conditioning unit (which worked perfectly well and was a blessing especially in the afternoon heat). Everything was spotlessly clean and the bathroom immaculate with hairdryer, bidet, shower in the bath etc. The balcony offered spectacular views of the valleys and villages below, from a 2,600ft above sea level perspective. The fitness center was one of the most well equipped we've seen, and both the large indoor heated pool and the outside pool, plus dressing room facilities, were a pure pleasure to use. Highly recommended.

The buildings old and needs modernization, but the staff are fantastic!!! Very polite and helpful even with the language barrier ( my Portuguese is rubbish)! The indoor pool is lovely, warm and mostly quiet the outdoor sun area is lovely but the pools not heated so it's freezing even with the sunshining on it all-day, the restaurant has choice of hot/salad buffet or menu meals both very tasty! but overall it's a great place and we will come again

We arrived late but still the receptionist was very helpfull and we even received an upgrade from a standard double to a suite with balcony and lovely view over the mountains
