Truly wonderful place with the most wonderful hosts. Make you feel right at home! Beautiful walks and wine nearby and a fantastic breakfast! Recommend 1000% - even in Covid times!

The place is tastefully decorated! The host took care of us very well, giving us the feeling of home. The breakfast was homemade and very tasty. They were also very helpful in giving us directions and recommendation around the place. It was one of our best stay in our whole trip and we enjoyed it! Just one suggestion that if you are driving at night, drive big road,dont follow the google map which is guiding you to a small dark narrow roads.

"Home Sweet Home"! We didn't plan to stay a night in this area but went to the tourist info and saw this beautiful place - it is in the sleepy village of Queimada in Armamar - but a gem to find. Luis and Zulmira and their twin daughters are wonderful and genuine hosts and you feel at home straight away. Our triple room was very spacious and spotless - and tastefully decorated which shows that the owner has a flair for design. Breakfast was all homemade jams and , a selection of local cold meats and cheese from the region, with the homemade bread, fresh juices and fruits. But the real treat was the evening meal which you can request in advance - the best ever homemade Bacalau com Broa for the main course, best selection of cheese and ham to start and the divine chocolate cake - not to mention the host excellent knowledge of wine and port. Thank you so very much for the most enjoyable and memorable stay. We would love to come back again next year. The Galloways from Oxford England

Unfortunately, we only spent one night here in transit. Unfortunately!! The hosts are very warm and the food from chef Miguel is excellent. You feel like you're part of the family here. You also come into contact with the other guests very quickly. So you can get tips for things to do and excursions in the area. Anyone who has been here once will definitely want to come back. Thank you for everything!
