Lovely property on the margins of the river Douro. Modern building, comfortable and well equipped with gym, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. The personnel was very friendly and attentive. I would love to visit again for a longer stay.

Perfect place to turn off the mind. It is super cozy, it has great conditions and the staff is very nice and helpful. Excellent view from the room and from the entire place. As a suggestion, if you want to spend the whole day in the house, you should bring with you snacks/food because you will only have breakfast and all the food places are +- 30 min away - for me, this is the only cons: I would appreciate having some food options.

Peaceful and great place to relax. Staff is excellent and you can use kitchen and other services at no cost. Just beware the road there is quite steep

I stayed at Douro Green for a week with my family and held my wedding there and have nothing but great things to say about this beautiful venue. The location is gorgeous, and there's no better place to enjoy the Douro River sunshine and views than by the pool or in one of the hammocks by the riverside. There are flowers, beautiful, the perfect shades of white and purple to complement the different shades of green. The rooms are just the kind we wanted- high quality comfort with a lovely river view. The inside of the hotel is modern, with consistent design and quality furnishings. The staff, particularly Andreai went far above and beyond for our group. Andreai arranged the catering, servers, flowers, cake, transportation, and photographer for us (all excellent and at no extra charge!). She arranged vineyard tours and boat rides for all the guests. At nine o'clock pm we called her after a car accident and she insisted on meeting us at the hospital, translating for us and then driving us home at 1am. We kept thinking this place and the service was too good to be true. We chose to have our wedding in Portugal because we were drawn to Douro Green and I am so happy we did.
