Incredible place in the Douro valley. It's isolated and peaceful but also very close the small city of Castelo de Paiva. The rooms are modern and comfy, the kitchen and living room spacious. There are so many places to just have a walk, read a book or have a great conversation. The views are amazing too, especially from the pool. There is even a forest as a backyard.. I mean! On top of that Jaquelin and Michel are the best host I've ever met, attentive, wise and young in spirit. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Quinta do Mirante with our whole family for a week, and we can recommend it 100%. It is a perfect place to rest from the city. Apart from the amazing view, Quinta do Mirante has perfect spots where you can eat together, enjoy a wine, read , have a swim or have short evening walks to the Mirante or to the forest. It is also perfect for kids, as they can play around freely and there is always something new to discover. Michel and Jacqueline are great hosts and recommended us activities and places to go during our stay (but we didn’t want to leave the Quinta!). We will repeat, for sure, with family or friends. Thank you!

A peaceful place where you can dip your toes into the nice swimming pool and pick the grapes from the trees. It is a place where you can reset your mind and recharge. And a shoutout to the amazing hosts Jaqueline and Michel. 🌞

An incredible place and owners. I stayed for a week with a retreat and had an amazing time. The quinta is phenomenal with amazing views, open nature for hiking/exploration, a hill-top pool overlooking the douro, a fire pit, multiple outdoor common areas, an outside barbecue, gardens, fruit trees… and much more. While the quinta is amazing, but I’d have to say the owners, Michel and Jaquelin, were the highlight of the quinta. Wonderful people that welcomed us into their home and their lives for our short stay. I look forward most to seeing them again in the future.

After the confinement, it was extraordinary to find the same peace, tranquility and most of all great friends in a great get together. Already missing it.
