Magical place overlooking the beautiful wine yards - it was so quiet and peaceful at Casa d‘Alem, the perfect place to completely relax and refuel. The house and rooms look like from another decade and are really lovely. The best is the pool and the nice garden to walk around! You can also have simple but tasty dinner and enjoy the sunset on the terrace. I would definitely recommend this place! Big plus: Dog friendly place!!!

It is an old Portuguese manor house with very high ceilings and wooden floors, retaining all the charm of yesteryear. The pool has spectacular views. The room was the smallest in the house but it had everything you need, very comfortable beds. The impressive breakfast, natural juice, coffee with milk, bread, croissants, fruit, cold cuts, cheese, cereals, butter and jam. The parking is in a small farm right next to it, the entrance is somewhat narrow. Both the owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast time for us who are doing the N2 is a bit late, it is from 9 to 10:30, and being still summer, getting up early gives us some margin because from lunchtime it is very hot.

Mais uma vez, usufruí das MARAVILHAS que esta casa nos oferece: ambiente, beleza natural, simpatia, profissionalismo, alimentação (excelente), segurança, dedicação, paz. Tudo muito bem organizado, relativamente à COVID. Parabéns a todos os que contribuem para tal. Tenho que fazer isto mais vezes... valeu mesmo a pena.

Excelente estadia! Staff super acolhedor e simpático, espaço muito bom, ótimo aspecto e estado de conservação. Pequeno almoço bastante completo e saboroso. Ótimas vistas e acesso fácil e perto de Mesão Frio e Régua. Melhor ainda, 2 cães super brincalhões e divertidos para ajudar a relaxar!
