Simple property but well equipped, clean & perfectly adequate for 2 couples or a family with small children or 2 older ones of same sex. Super external areas that get plenty of sunshine & have great views but the icing on the cake is the beautiful private swimming pool ! Couto de Esteves is a very pleasant village with some basic amenities & is set in lovely countryside with a good assortment of walking trails. Within easy walking of the property is a great restaurant & bar called 'O junior' which we visited nearly every night,don't miss it ! There is a large range of shops,supermarkets etc in Sever do Vouga,about 20 minutes drive away. A few minutes drive out of the village is a new dam (barragem) which is open to traffic & a handy shortcut to the other side of the valley. All in all a great weeks holiday & have no hesitation in recommending Casa da Encosta ! Many thanks to Manuel,wife & daughter from Jen & Steve

A Casa da Encosta é um local para férias perfeito. Muito acolhedor, com tudo o que é necessário e com muita qualidade. Os donos são de uma grande simpatia e disponibilidade. Adoramos e vamos tentar repetir férias aqui.

Very happy to have spent a week in this room, very clean house, also very pleasant swimming pool, ideal for resting, ideal for people who love nature.
