Horrible nightclub

Well after having this nightclub recommended to us by the Portuguese people we were very disappointed. Upon arrival at the club we were looked up and down at by the security, who didn’t seem to realise that no matter what language you speak you can tell if you are going to be allowed in or not. The females in front of us walked straight in. Knowing already that we weren’t going to be let in by the looks we were getting and constant muttering between the door staff we continued. The doorman looked at us and without hesitation said no, to which we replied ‘why?’. As he stood there like a big man the answer we got was - ‘our fashion is not correct’...bearing in mind we were wearing what we English consider to be ‘fashionable clothes to go out in’. We laughed and in utter disbelief asked again to which he replied if you want to come in you have to pay 250 euros each. At this point rather than getting aggressive we just laughed at their pretentious show of force! Safe to say it was a common theme in Porto that because we are two English lads we weren’t getting in. Won’t be coming here again and we’ll be sure to turn everyone we know away from Porto 😊 and if they think that dressing like a grandad and wearing bastard chinos and le coq sportif trainers is fashion then someone is having a laugh!

Music is boring, drinks are expensive and bouncers are snobs

Very posh and stylish Club with great architecture and a long history behind it. Its by far the Best club in Porto! Totally worth a visit.
