Staying in Casa da Menina makes you feel, you want to make it your home. Right in the middle of a peaceful scenery, surrounded by forest and rivers, one disconnects from the city buzz right away and gets back in the arms of nature. The house is fully equipped, very spacious, with comfortable beds and fluffy beddings. In the three levels of the house one can find so many different corners to sit back or lay down and simply enjoy the peace of the mountains or a book while sipping a delicious Portuguese wine. More than enough space for children to play and parents to relax at the same time. Unforgettable will make the stay as well the warmhearted welcome of the owners, Hedy and Hannes. Vielen Dank!

In September 2020 we spent 10 days at Casa Menina. The house is very spacious and comfortably furnished, and the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. From the beautiful terrace you can enjoy the sunset. Our host Hannes Blattner gave us a warm welcome and helped us rent a mountain bike. We gladly made use of his offer to use the vegetable garden. The surroundings are very beautiful, there is a lot to do. We thank Hannes, it was a very nice vacation.

The house leaves nothing to be desired and is equipped with everything you could want for your vacation. You feel warmly welcomed and get good tips to explore the unique, hardly touristy environment. Casa da Menina is also exactly the right place to relax and unwind. For children to run around and explore nature, a real paradise!

Have vacationed there in 2015 with a couple of friends and were extremely satisfied with everything. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. Beautiful, very well-kept, clean accommodation with a generous room layout. Good books on the shelf, a wonderful view of the neighboring village and into the distance. Organic fruit and vegetables directly from our own cultivation, as well as red and white wine from our own production at a reasonable price. We recommend. Our landlord couple speaks German and Portuguese, are very personable and were there for us at any time.

A bit of paradise in the midst of a beautiful landscape. The house is very cozy, spacious, very clean and offers every comfort. The large terrace, with a view over the plantation and at night on the clear starry sky is a real place to feel good. The landlords were always with words and deeds and a lot of information to the side and have wonderfully cared for us. Free vegetables and fruits from their own garden and olive oil from the plantation were the icing on the cake. The environment is also very attractive and we could do a lot as a family. We especially loved the river baths and mountain lakes and villages, but also the bike tour on the lonely Ecopista on the Rio Dão was a highlight. We found the time there simply unforgettable beautiful !!!!
