An excellent choice for a stay in downtown Coimbra. This is midway between Coimbra A railway station and the coach station for domestic and international journeys. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and spoke good English. Do ask for a room at the rear of the hotel to avoid noise from the main road. I had a room on the fifth floor at the back and this review loses a star for the overly noisy lift motor.
