Did a wonderful walking tour of this historical old city. Beautiful buildings around every corner. Lots of steps up and down, ending with Tapas dinner in a couple tiny restaurants. It was a great evening

Coimbra is well known for its antiques and old buildings. Barbican Gate is no different. Very old but very beautiful place. If you are in Coimbra don’t miss this place.

Nice gateway that separates the different levels of the town. It is in fact amazing how this city is layered.
