Basic Portugese food well done for a fair price.

This is a very local well known place. I like to be fair, my boyfriend loved it and I found it good, but maybe less than my expectations. Very small place, it is a hidden gem and with a long queu. We ordered the main dish the bones “ossos “ but I did not like that much. We also ordered a feijoada, completely different than the Brazilian Flavour. Good one but really heavy dish . The place is very small and very hot inside. Not expensive at all. I have heard just really really great comments from friends and social media but I was expecting more taste. Go and try it and let me know your thoughts. My boyfriend really liked it .

Great food in a very cozy environment. Nothing fancy, which actually makes this place as original as I could be. Pretty tiny, so get there early or expect to wait for a while, although it's totally worth it.

One of Coimbra's iconic restaurants. Serves rustic Portuguese cuisine. Food is tasty and portions generous. Price is fair.
