We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Fantastic and tasty food, your eyes eat first. Gorgeous decorations of the dishes, as well as the food was excellent. Friendly and professional staff. The Pedro & Ines white wine was amazing!

Wonderful staff all friendly and helpful. I even got help with a computer issue from one of the young desk staff. Restaurant served us the best meal we have had in Portugal. Breakfast was nice with lots of great breads and fresh fruit. Overall 5 star experience

One of my favorite hotel experiences. This hotel has an amazing history as a palace and wonderful story. The guest services team was all amazing and so attentive. The on-site restaurants are delicious including the smaller one. They offer a welcome drink when you arrive. The pool is beautiful, cool and spacious. They offered poolside service for drinks and small bites. The city is within walking distance, but you should take a ride up the hill to go to the university unless you want the extra workout. 😉
