Typical Portuguese. Great food. Best chicken piri piri in town. Great value price wise. Staff so friendly. Well worth a try.

Nice place to visit, right next to the museum. You can sit in the sun & have a lovely pastry.

Pastelaria Amêndoa Doce is the centre of the known universe. Nuno and his crew are welcoming, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. The prices for food and drink are incredibly low, but the quality is high. I don't know how they do it. If you just visit one little roadside cafe in Portugal, make sure it's this one. You won't be disappointed.

This Wonderful Cafe Bar serves beautifully prepared light meals and snacks. Open Monday to Saturday and is a popular meeting place for Ex Pats as well as locals. Located on a few minutes from the Old Town it is the Perfect Place to watch the evening sun go down and Sip one of Nuno’s legendary Gin & Tonics. Not to be missed !
