I had a very comfortable stay in Amares. Joana and dona Helena are very welcoming and helpful. They even left some food for the first breakfast. The apartment is spacious and very clean, the kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped and there is also a small terrace. From Amares you can easily visit Braga, Porto, Gerês, Douro Valley and the sea. I definitely recommend everyone staying here!

We stayed at 9 friends and 3 kids in two apartments in August for a wedding. The apartments are very beautiful and well equipped. The prices are really very affordable and the value for money is unbeatable compared to other hotels and accommodations in the region. The hosts (including Joana who speaks English fluently) are extremely friendly and attentive. They had lots of little touches for us (such as beers in the fridge, the top, or many tips to visit Portugal). We recommend it warmly and without hesitation! Thanks to Joana and her mom for a very pleasant stay.

Excellent accommodation. Very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Totally new and very clean. By car it is very close to visit Braga, Guimaraes, Barcelos and Geres. Dona Helena received us, very kind and Sergio also worried that everything was fine. To repeat enchanted.
