A very late review indeed - we stayed at Casa de Chouselas in September 2019 when we were visiting for a wedding. Olivia is a fantastic hostess and nothing is too much trouble. The location does not have much traffic so it’s very peaceful and relaxing in the garden and taking a dip in the pool. Our room (first floor facing the road) was very clean, bright and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The house has loads of character and warmth as Olivia has sourced a large amount of the furniture and furnishings from flea markets and second hand shops. Breakfast was as much as you could eat. Great variety and a lot of fresh produce sourced locally. As it was a family wedding, we had the whole place to ourselves and Olivia provided a superb dinner for us showcasing local specialities and she also makes her own wine - can highly recommend as it slips down all too easily! We shall definitely be back to visit!

Don't miss the chance to meet Mrs. Olivia and the outstanding environment she created to welcome you in a cosy and relaxed accommodation surronded by a green landscape and little noisy little water streams. A must for the wellbeing :)

We rented the whole house (21 guests) because our son was getting married in the area. The house is fantastic. All rooms have private bathrooms and the decoration is unique. Olivia and her family spoiled us with breakfasts that included something different everyday like home baked cakes, crepes, homemade jams, juices and all kinds of cold cuts, cheeses and local delicious pastries. She also cooked for us dinner in 2 occasions. It was yummy! Olivia arranged for us restaurant reservations, transport to the airport and hairdresser visits on Sunday. The house is in a very pretty area, has a big parking and is perfect to explore Porto, Braga and the rest of the north of Portugal. I can only recommend this house and I’m sure other guests will share my enthusiasm about Olivia and the rest of her family.

Great place and awesome hosts received us. As a guest I felt like home with hosts always trying to be pleasant. The suite duplex has pleanty of space for the three kids sleep and play. It does not have kitchen, but host didn't place obstacles to use the main kitchen. The swimming pool is not large but is charming. It is a pity that the pools doesn't have sun beyond 16h.
