Algarve Dental Implants by Dr. Cris Piessens

For years I have lived with a poor smile due to acute gingivitis, and subsequent loss of teeth. I’m not an old man, 55 as I am writing. I had to resort to partial dentures which were ill-fitting due to my ever changing gums. I withdrew from all but my closest friends and family. I hated my smile. All-on-4 dental implants were not a financially viable option in the UK, but I was fortunate enough to see an advert from Cris Piessens advertising this treatment. I made an enquiry, and Cris called me in the UK to discuss the treatment. He put my mind at ease, and I booked a trip to visit. From the outset, Cris and his team inspired confidence, and with the costs of treatment less than half the price of those in the UK, I decided to have both upper and lower All-on-4 arches fitted. Cris performed 12 extractions and 8 implants in one day, and I left the surgery with a beautifully realistic set of implants that evening. I have to say that the prescribed medication, coupled with excellent aftercare meant that despite such a large intervention, post surgery pain was non-existent. A little swelling was to be expected, but this returned to normal in approximately 5 days. 2 weeks later, and I’m eating normally, without fear that my dental plate will become unstuck. My social life has vastly improved and I’m proud to greet, and smile at strangers once again. My confidence in dentistry has been restored and I have Cris to thank for that. I highly recommend.
