Casinhas de Medros

A charming house, just a few minutes from the historic city center of Barcelos.

Fui ver onde ficaria a habitação para alugar para familiares. Infelizmente, trata-se de uma casinha no sítio de Medros (Barcelos). O PIOR é que se trata de um enclave com casinhas ao lado ocupadas por arrendatários "em comunidade". A entrada está mal feita e pelo que nos foi dado a entender a contragosto dos vizinhos. Aparentemente, mau comportamento do dono do Alojamento Local. A parte de trás, dá directamente para uma via rápida. Péssimo. Não recomendo! Tudo acanhado. Ah, para rir: a avaliação de 5 estrelas é do DONO do pequeno espaço. Ridículo.

Recanto paradisíaco, excelente para casal ou família pelo seu sossego e isolamento, mas a dois passos da cidade que tem tanto para mostrar.

Practical, clean accommodation with air conditioning, well located and ideal for a family with 2 children. Overall, it is very well equipped for a good holiday. The accommodation is equipped There are 2 separate bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds that can be separated if necessary. The bedding is recent with a lot of pillows to sleep well :). Each bedroom has its own window with shutters and curtains, you can choose the darkness you want to sleep. The rooms are on the garden side, so you can sleep peacefully without hearing the cars. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cooking: hotplate, high, microwave, refrigerator, freezer (with ice bread), etc. There are 3 types of coffee machines: Nespresso, Italian and piston. An electric teapot with temperature control. There is a lot of equipment :). The accommodation is equipped with wifi and an ADSL TV box with a large flat screen. Little more, there is a USB charging hub, very practical if like me you have a lot of devices that charge via USB;). The bathroom is very nice with a large Italian shower with a double shower head. The basin is large and stylish. There is a window in the bathroom, which is convenient for ventilating. The decoration is very pretty, each room has its charm with a lot of craftsmanship. The accommodation has 2 terraces, one at the front and one at the rear. During the day, the back patio can be noisy depending on road traffic, but Barcelos is a big city. The terrace in front of the house is quiet and opens directly onto the garden with its swing. Each has its own table, chairs and parasol. On the site side, the accommodation is located at the bottom of a small dirt road where there are other small houses of locals. On foot, there is a bakery where you can have breakfast without worries, counting 5 € for 4 people. There is also a restaurant that offers take-out food (grilled chicken, pasta, fish, etc.) at an affordable price. The center of Barcelos is minutes away and it is alive day and night. The beaches are 15/20 minutes away. In summary, we are well located! Maintenance level was perfect! Everything is clean and smells good. The owner also provides all the necessary equipment for cleaning. For having done a lot of rentals on Barcelos, it is clearly a rare pearl that is worth the detour :). The hosts are very welcoming and available for any questions. I recommend !
