Casa 5*, num lugar fantástico!

This house is part of a larger complex, with a mansion, large gardens and vineyards, and it seems to have been in other times the house of the guards, the service or similar. However, it maintains good privacy, since it is far from the main house. Although it is completely renovated, they have preserved very well some old elements such as the oven and the stone floor in the kitchen, the wide ceiling and some decorative elements in the bedrooms, which makes it a very charming one. As I said, the house is renovated and has all the necessary amenities and a well-equipped kitchen (including small appliances such as a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc). The three bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds, the bathrooms were very nice and the living room is huge. However, in my opinion, the best part of the house is outside, it has wonderful gardens and a very good-sized pool that we have enjoyed very much. And although it is supposed to be shared with the hosts, the truth is that we had it every day to ourselves. Regarding the location, it is located in a village in the mountains, a few minutes from Viana Do Castelo and the beach, and about 50 minutes from Braga. In a very quiet place, with lush vegetation. For those of us used to the noise of the city, the truth is that resting in such a place is a luxury. And although the house is wonderful (which it is), the best of all has been the hospitality of the hosts, who took great care to make our stay perfect. I loved arriving and seeing fresh flowers in the rooms and I thought it was a beautiful detail on their part that, as a welcome detail, they would have left us a basket of fresh fruits and some products for breakfast. They gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, they showed us the main house, which is an architectural gem, and they even changed the television for another where the children could connect the play station. They cared so much for us and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. In short, it is a highly recommended place to go with family or friends to disconnect and rest.
