Bird watching

Lovely boardwalk. An easy walk & wonderful views in the evening! Great for families also

The wooden path through this areal is a real come back down. One can have a totally nice view across the area from the roof of the info spot (container), need to be careful because of the broken ladder. I loved the turtle feeding bridge at the entrance and I liked the variety of birds populating this water flooded terrain. I really would love to see a closer spotting point, a kind of bird trail near the big lake to let people even more feel and understand the beautiful nature of Portugal - it's awsome and it's free.

Nice place to see, isolated & away from crowds going to beach. Shaded, with first floor terrace that you can climb to.

The bird watching walk was a surprise to me, the location attracts a lot of locals with a wooden walkway over the lake and bird watching nest along the route. The path way was full of flying insects though which if it was made for tourist would have been a downer but the fact these insects are here makes this a.working Santuary for these local birds. Birds including stocks , flamingos, spoon bills, can all be found here though Binoculars is recommended.

This is a fantastic place for bird watching, real diversity, from osprey andmarsh harriers, to storks, spoon bills, glossy ibis and cormorant, to name a few. Great walking for humans and dogs, right next to the beach too. What's not to love
