Great place for coffee and pastries, both savoury and sweet. They have a range of pies with chicken, mushroom, cheese and sausage among others, plus lots of sweet tarts and cakes, all at very reasonable prices.

My last breakfast before leaving Guimarães! Came recommended by a friend and didn't regret it. Large coffee (abatanado), pastel de nata, lanche com salsicha (sausage snack) and Bola de Berlim (Berlin ball) for 3,50. The abatanado was to my taste, stronger than in other places, which served kinda watery coffee (to my taste, of course). Pastries were good as always in Portugal, and the price was fair.

Tasty pastry. But the Torta de Guimaraes promoted by Use-It map was not such an experience as one might have expected.
