Very nice and unique environment. Excellent quality of food.. need a sommelier there and proper wine glasses. But it’s a place worthy of coming back

Nice food, but a little bit costly overall. Plating is the distinctive marker. You can get food as good as this across the road for a quarter of the cost, minus the ambience and plating. But, though, still a nice experience.

This "Pousada" is a journey to XII century, where you can eat in the magnificent kitchen of the Cistersian monks! The sanctuary was redesigned by one of our Pritzker laureates, Eduardo de Souto Moura, after a long decay period. An extraordinary work, where the true origin and function of the edification is very well combined with modernity, maintaining sobriety and elegance. Excelent food and service in a unique ambiance. You can also stay in the Hotel.
