We call this way: The way to hell 😈. If you will hiking to this place have a lamp and good shoes with you. Stay on the way and don’t go to areas that are close. You become the feeling to be in another world.

Great trail, I like it. And Janela do Inferno is the hidden pearl of the island. Realy worth to visit.

A lovely walking trail, up through the farm fields, then along the river and aquaduct to the waterfall. Not much water flowing in Oct, but a very pleasant walk. Tip: We parked along the EN5-2A where the trail crosses the road - and used our GPS to navigate back through the farm field roads cutting 2 hrs from the hike. Well worth it, since we were all hiked out after a week on Sao Miguel!

Very nice walking trail with diverse parts. Please note that the trail can be slippery and muddy after rain.
