I had a 10/10 experience here last winter, there were only a few people who were enjoying the hot springs, it was so nice and relaxing. However, when I went back this year I was surrounded by a ton of tourists trying to get the best shot of themselves with their selfie sticks (probably for instagram) :/ It feels more like a tourist trap now than somewhere you would go to relax. I guess you have to carefully plan the time and day you go there.

Due to covid, it was not allowed to bath. Quite small place.

We really enjoyed a couple of hours here and highly recommend! Here's some tips I think might be useful: 1. It's kid-friendly. My 3 year old was welcome and thoroughly enjoyed it. 2. There are about 4 different pools, one of which has a waterfall cascading down into it. That one is about 74° Fahrenheit and was too cold for even my toddler to really enjoy. One of the warmer pools was just right for her. 3. The parking lot was BEFORE the actual park so pay attention and pull off before you get to the park, or you will have to drive about 5 mins to the viewpoint to turn around. Also, there's a pretty hefty flight of stairs from the parking lot to the park entrance. If you have handicap permits, theres a few spots up by the entrance. 4. There's nothing to eat inside the park but the day we went there was a snack truck outside with snacks and souvenirs. 5. It's a short walk to the pools, but a walk nonetheless. 6. There are lockers for rent for €5 deposit (that you can get back). Keys are given inside the park at the information center. But most people just put stuff outside the pool within eyesight.

This was the first thermal bath we attended on the island. The location is beautiful and well maintained - change rooms, walk ways, everything is very clean and tidy. The surrounding forest was dense and very lush even in the end of November. The springs were meh. The top spring was actually quite tepid so it was very cold waiting for your chance with the waterfall. The other baths were much warmer but you cannot escape the sulphur smell. If you have time, definitely make the stop. But if you're planning is packed...not a must see.
