Farol do Cabo da Roca

Beautiful place usually overcrowded but now with covid it is fine to visit

This place was so cool. Great little trails to hike. I imagined that the New World had not been discovered and I was standing on the farthest western edge of the known world. Gorgeous and more fun than the Cabo da Roca.

It's a small lighthouse a short hike away from Cabo da Roca. Unfortunately, it's not open in the evening. Apparently, it used to be a military defense outpost and now it's converted to the lighthouse. Not particularly something that you'll regret if you don't see it, but might be worth a stop if you're tied of the crowds at the cape.
