Pizzaria New Cottage

You will read many reviews complaining about the service's pace and honestly, to call it slow is an understatement. There were five of us and all ordered pizza – one of which had to be made without cheese since it was for a vegan. I should also mention that apart from another table, we were the only ones there. It took about forty five minutes for the food to arrive and, lo and behold, no vegan pizza in sight. As soon as the waitress put the rest of the meals down she apologised as the chef instinctively made it with cheese and that it will take a little longer. Five minutes later she reappeared with the missing pizza, which consisted of dough with the sauce and covered with uncooked peppers, uncooked onions, uncooked REALLY thick slices of tomatoes and canned mushrooms and corn. As for the rest of the pizzas, uncooked veggies all around, undercooked egg and generally soaking wet with oil. Also, they're not getting a politeness award anytime soon. Since there were five of us, we wanted to split the check which apparently is a request on the same level as splitting the atom while dividing by zero whilst you're doing an one-arm handstand. We spent about ten minutes just so they could figure out how to divide everything, while being obnoxiously rude. I also got into a brief argument with a very condescending waitress on the pronunciation of the restaurant's name. I was right, I googled it.

Worst pizza of my life. I feel like burning down the building. It’s bread and tomato and cheese, how can you get that so wrong? It wasn’t even cooked. A good pizza should make all your problems disappear. This one made me want to hurt myself and others. Do NOT go to this restaurant.

Good pizzas, good food, at a good price. We use to come to this place ( during vacations) for three years now, always with the same faces and friendly people. :-) Good experience to try.
