Stopped by in passing in December, saw the poor reviews and was hesitant. Happy to say our experience was excellent here. Very tasty and fresh fish for lunch with good wine. Owner offered us Medronho and Port on the house after our meal. The cats were on the beach and no problem for us. Toilet is at the rear outside. A really peaceful and beautiful location here. Perfect afternoon.

Impossible to eat quietly while listening to the waves because the boss plays his radio loudly and owns a dog on a leash who can’t stop barking while a band of 20 cats are assailing the customers for food. The menu and the waitress’s explanations are completely confused, as she tried to sell us something unpriced at obscure conditions.

2 stars only for the location which is fabulous, however the food bears no relation to the pictures on the menu and is expensive for what it is. We only wanted a light lunch and didn’t want to spend €40 a kilo on freshly grilled fish. The basket of bread was half the size of the menu picture - only 4 little slices, and the pâté came in tiny foil tubs. We left the beach with a sour taste in our mouths...

Beautiful atmosphere.

Terrible place. We had to wait for more than an hour to get the first dish served and almost thirty minutes more to get the second one, even though it was ordered at the same time. Several other clients around us were experiencing the same un-explicable delays. On top of that the prices were quite high compared to the quality of the food which was just basic. A pretty bad experience
