Portinho Divers

Amazing trip!!! ❤ Our guide was all the time interested in organizing the best trip for us. We were just 6 tourists in the boat and had enough space. At the beginning we passed an amazing coast to the north with beautiful caves. Then we stopped at an almost empty island with a beautiful beach and had time to swim, relax and go for a walk on the beach. After that we made a 30min-boat trip searching for dolphins. In the end we were lucky and met a big group of dolphins. We accompanied them and were able to see them swimming, diving near to our boat, jumping out of the water, playing with each other and hunting fishes. It was absolutely amazing!!!

I am currently a Divemaster in training. I went diving with Portinho Divers during my holiday in Portugal. This was by far the worst dive i ever had. And that includes swimming pool practise! - I was not assigned to any divemaster, just had to go along on my own... - only 1 "instructor" with 7 students - The rental gear of the students was leaking all the time and there were like 6 blowing regulators - everyone was swimming all over the place, tearing up the underwater environment - the instructor was trying to control too big of a group - the instructor asked me to guide 2 of his introduction dive students!?!?!? - Max depth was 4.4 meters - We just went back and forth at the same place I would understand it if my dive as a more experienced diver would be influenced with students present, however nothing can excuse the shameful practise that this diving school performs. Putting students in harms way without proper guidance and help. Not guiding any certified divers that may be present to a more interesting spot. This one is a big no-no for me. And i'm one of those guys that'll do pretty much anything to get a dive during my vacation. A huge dissapointment...
