Castle of Castelo de Vide

Sadly, as of October 2020, the castle is closed for renovation. Some of it can be seen from the outside. You can walk in the narrow cobblestone streets within the walls and marvel at the views (reaching up to Marvão, a nearby wonder) and the tiny houses. In spite of the maintenance work going on the castle, the village is still worthy of the visit.

Nice place but unfortunately was under refurbishment and was closed. But looks great with interesting old city around.

Lots of works going on in September 2020. I believe it will be great after. Now you can’t explore half of it.

A nice town with quite a bit of history. The castle was unfortunately closed, but I was still able to take a little tour around the houses surrounding it. I would like to go back to see more.
