Donna Praia Café

The location is ideal and the esplanade is convenient with very nice view. The sandwiches are delicious and the portion is quite good. That being said, my only problem is with the service. I have visited the cafe several times and had some peculiar experiences. The first time I ordered at the counter. I got half of my order and went to the toilet. When I came back I waited for the waiter to come back to serve me the remaining of my order. Waited for a good 5 minutes (it's a very small place so 5min is too long). Called in to the kitchen and once I explained to the gentleman who was inside that I had been waiting for some time he replied with: "5min? Let me get the waiter. Do you want me to fire him? I'll fire him." I was left speechless by this reply and once the waiter came back he apologised for the wait and I got the rest of my order. The other times, I had to wait several minutes for the waiter to come to my table, had to remind the waiter i was still missing items on my order, had to go to the counter to order because he failed to see I was a new customer and had to seat on a table with items from the previous customer. I would understand if it was busy but none of the times was. There's a lack of being able to multitask and with a more switched on person or a second person perhaps this place could be booming. Apart from that, it is heaven after hiking from the beach up.

Great Location, with good beverages and food.

A vista e o local são magníficos, o atendimento é razoável, no entanto são poucas pessoas a servir e quando está cheio espera-se imenso. Os hambúrgueres são razoaveis e as tostas são melhores. Também têm cachorros e de petiscos têm caracóis.

Boa tarde antes demais as minhas desculpas ao que mencionar dia 18 deste mês fui dar um passeio numa zona que não conhecia uma vez que estou de luto infelizmente estou mais livre quando o doente esteve acamado muitos anos na nossa casa já estou reformado adorei este café e fui atendido por uma menina muito simpática que me trouxe uma imperial tudo normal entretanto dirigi-me ao balcão e paguei como gostei muito do ambiente e do bar muito acolhedor decidi ir hoje lá ao café fiz o mesmo pedido a um empregado quando me traz o pedido pede para pagar fiquei admirado a resposta do empregado foi na semana esteve aqui uma pessoa foi embora e não pagou e não quero que volte acontecer entretanto uma cliente pediu algo para ela ao empregado eu educadamente fiz a pergunta vai pagar já a resposta da Senhora muito surpreendida disse poderei pagar ou depois fiquei em choque quando trabalhei tantos anos em hotelaria e tenho família l.x e lagos com restaurante e café mais vez as minhas desculpas a casa em si é muito ao meu gosto e vista brilhante
