We visited in the quiet season, arriving on the 15th March and still had to wait half an hour for our shuttle from the Faro airport to the hotel in Faro. Then the driver took us to the wrong hotel. We confirmed our return shuttle 24 hours before and it failed to arrive because the driver had gone to the wrong hotel again. Eventually the hotel concierge rang up, was plainly left on hold for several minutes and we were collected half an hour late again. It would have been so much easier to get a local taxi.
