Very nice Supermarket with tipical Portugueses food ;)

A bit rough around the edges but very real Portuguese shopping experience. Very friendly helpful staff. I would say lovely supermarket unlike more posh supermarkets I have used

After nearly 11 years of living in Portimao and lately Alvor, with all the choice we are lucky to enjoy, Pingo has become my favourite supermarket. The fruit and veg are always fresh and seasonal are always on offer. The meat and fish are of great quality and you can get really interesting cuts. They have just lately started doing the packs for the Portuguese meat stew 'Cozido'. The own brand range is always great quality and the animal food range is just as good. The staff are always friendly and quickly get to know you if you are a regular shopper. This store in particular is not too big to be difficult to find things and is always clean and tidy. It's always a pleasure to shop here ☺.

Perhaps s little bit more expensive than some supermarket's but very fresh produce at reasonable prices. Handy where it's situated. Very cheap coffee shop and cooked meals. Roast chicken etc. Sushi counter / fresh flowers and clothing. Most of what you need.
