we arrived a little late ( 14-30-15h) for lunch-sorry-, but could enter. hooray! there was 1 other table occupied. Unfortunately the chef was in a bad bad mood and not very simpatic. maybe because i asked for a tea to warm up? We were with 5 and ate the petiscos, bacalhao and de porc cheeks. It was ok, but nothing special. A bland taste ,mist ´coração´! no vegetables or salad , and bit overpriced also. Must have been the tea! If you do not want to serve people at this late hour, please refuse them. Nice view.

Great service in an outstanding location with a view. Typical food from Alentejo as good as it gets. If you have a chance and can find a table come here. Best to call to reserve a table.

Excelente food, however service needs to be refined

I really enjoyed the dinner here. Yes, the service was a little gruff but that is something I experienced quite often and it did not deter us from having a good time. The food was very good and portions are huge. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

It's the latter part of my trip in December 2018. When I first visited, I was full of people, and when I went into the store to see if I could wait, both of my grandmothers didn't even say hello or care, and I was at a loss what to do. When I left the store, a customer came out and told me that they couldn't speak English, so I was told to wait for a while as his meal was over. After that, the guests didn't talk to us for a few more minutes, so they said they were good and delicious. I barely sat down and ordered a menu order with a photo from Google. Because English is not working, I only communicated with body language and another customer who speaks Portuguese helped me when I ordered wine. Many later reviews say the service is bad, but we know what it's like from that experience, but she was kind when we sat down. And thank you for coming forward and helping out like my job. Thanks to them, we had a delicious meal. It's really memorable.
