Best garbanzo beans stew (Cozido de grão) of the 4 I had in the area. Very corteous staff. A really enjoyable meal.

Very tasty codfish (Bacalhau á Casa), the hog was super tender. Friendly staff, good Alentejo vibe. The restaurant has a nice decor, justifying the name. Located in a quiet spot, surely worth the travel if nearby. Paid ~30€ for 2, with starters, 2 dishes, 2 wines and a dessert + coffee. So good value for money as well

We visited her twice in 6 evenings in early November 2018. First time we arrived and were the only ones at that time to eat. Owner welcomed us in. We had Blackfoot pork and carob torte it was fantastic. Same welcome and quality of food, and carob torte the 2nd time
