Madeira Happy Tours

For the third trip we chose this company and frankly speaking I had mixed feelings. The good things: comfortable car, visited all places from the program. The bad ones: almost one hour delay (of course, they phoned us and told about delay because of traffic, but the said that it would be around 10 minutes), very average or even poor driver/guide, the same time (half an hour) in every place (in better and worse ones). If they do other trips and walks like that - I would really consider, if I want to go with them.

Interesting trips in good prices. We were on the East trip with Marta, and we really enjoyed it, great views, some time for our self's, interesting traditional meal. Second time we did West with some french speaking guide and it was completely different, he was always the last on the bus as he was smoking, wasn't saying much during the trip, our overall experience with him was rather bad. So it depends who you get as a guide. We paid 20€ per person for each trip which is a good price. Buses were quite modern with AC.

We had a brilliant trip over to the East of the island! The driver spoke English and German and was very informative. This trip visits some stunning places, so don't forget your camera! Sorry no pics, ive just changed my phone!

Just got back from a brilliant day out ! West Tour..... Enjoyed so much we booked for the East Tour in 2 days. Our Guide was Marta, she was perfect, a very good driver too. Marta had excellent knowledge of her beautiful Island, she had a very good sense of humour. Please pass on our thanks to her ! We was two couples from England she picked up from Pestana Ocean Bay 20th Jan 2020 Highly recommend.
