John was an exceptional tour guide! He took us all around the island and was even able to take us on a tour of my grandparents and ancestral homes! He spoke perfect English which helped my non-Portuguese speaking fiancé have the same experience! He is clearly loved by his community and knows the right way to show off Sao Jorge’s beauty and culture! 10/10 recommend, can’t wait to go back!

John the owner is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about his home island, and happy to give you advice on all things São Jorge. In the little time I had, he showed me a lot of amazing places and shared information about their history. I enjoyed the tour and John's company very much. Highly recommended.

John is a pretty amazing tour guide and not just a taxi driver. He did a great job using all his resources to help locate some of my wife's family members and their old houses. We were so lucky to have John be our guide around Sao Jorge! We were only on island for a short layover and he gave us a tour we will never forget. I wish we had more time honestly! Highly recommend spending the entire day with him on an island tour! His knowledge of the islands is impeccable and will take you to all of the best spots plus some secret oasis’s!
