Jardim Botânico d'Ajuda

Looks like no money - no maintenance. Pay money for it seems to me a kind of donation.

Lovely garden. Beautiful fountains. Flowers blooming even in January.

It is close to the National Palace of Ajuda. There are trees and species from Portugal's former colonie. It is usually very quiet and there are some exhibitions from time to time

Great park in Ajuda to have a walk and relax with a nice view on the bridge and river. A lot of botanical plants to discover 🍀💚

After a long,hot walk on Monsanto we hoped for a bench in the shadow in the jardim. We paid, as we found, a quite expensive intrance fee, but we didnt find a possibility to sit and relax from the heat,what you normally have in every park or garden. It was very disappointing.
