Sesimbra Hotel & Spa

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE!! I booked a stay ahead of time at Sesimbra Hotel & Spa for March, however, when the COVID-19 Pandemic hit I had to cancel due to being unable to travel. The management team at this hotel is pitiful and has handled the situation with no regard. My supposed refundable cancellation has not been honoured and I have repeatedly attempted to contact the hotel with my concerns but they have refused to get back to me at any point in time. Do yourself a favour and book one of the other hotels in the area and maybe you'll be lucky to stay somewhere which has its visitors best interests in mind.

Very clean and spacious room with a stunning view over the sea. The swimming pool is a plus. We didn't eat or drink at the hotel as the prices are a bit expensive but the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I removed one star due to the pillows having a weird smell, but it could be related to the product used to disinfect because of the covid 19.

Stunning location, very reasonable, great free parking and large clean and well appointed rooms. Most, if not all the rooms have ocean views. Short and beautiful walk into the village.

We have just got home from a wonderful stay at the hotel. We were there for a week and took full advantage of the facilities! The rooms were clean and had great views over the beach and ocean front from the bed and the balcony. We went in October and it was quiet - we almost had the spa and the beach to ourselves most days. I had a 'sea secrets massage' from a wonderful masseuse which was reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet was lovely and varied (same things every day but enough that you could choose different things- crepes, hot bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs as well as delicious pastries and fruit, cereals and boiled eggs. My only complaints were that the pools were cold (the infinity pool outside wasn't heated at all and the small relaxation indoor one was tepid-just too cold to fully relax in) and whilst we were there the showers in the spa were also running cold for 2 days which made the experience somewhat less enjoyable! However, they were in the process of sorting this out as we left. Staff were friendly and helpful and sorted out a quiet room for us when my partner was poorly so she could get some r&r! We will be visiting again!

Amazing view. The rooms are huge and the place is very quiet. Best option to visit Sesimbra.
