I can only highly recommend staying here, it’s a lovely place well run by Pilar. If you’re looking for a quite place but still close to essencial needs near by, this is the place. Each house is nicely decorated and having a cozy feeling with a lot of space if you kids. Besides the amazing place, Pilar she’s an excellent person with a big heart and always happy to help. You’ll be in good company!

Pilar has kept the authentic feel of her grandfather's home. So much love and attention to detail has gone into her creative conversion. Quirky collections of finds from the feira's make it even more interesting. We were cosy inside with a real fire and plenty of places outside to enjoy nature.

Very beautiful. You feel like you are alone in the world. Very close to altura and to the sea.

Wonderful location! We spend 4 months this winter in Monte da Lagoa. It is at short walking distance to the beach and the village with shops and restaurants. Very nice owners who do everything to make your stay comfortable. Typical Portuguese accommodation, with everything one needs. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage with fireplace. Heating was no problem as they also provided an electric heater. Price inclusive of electric, so no complaints. We highly recommend this unique location and we can imagine hoe great it also must be in summer! Thank you Pilar, Fatima and family for your hospitality an a wonderful stay! Jolande

Lovely hosts. Pilar and her family were very good to me. My accommodation was simple and clean. I recommend having a car. Nice beach nearby.
