A good place to eat in the main street. The fish dishes are good! The owner is friendly and attentive.

This is such a hidden gem that we stumbled upon as I couldn't see it properly on Google or Trip Advisor. The food here is brilliant and the prices are very good. We ordered 3 fish mains and 2 desserts (so delicious - the 'tarte de natas' and the 'tres delicias do Algarve') with 3 soft drinks which came to approx €50. The staff were very friendly. We stayed at the Eurotel Hotel and this was approx 4-5 min walk if not less!

Had a pleasant evening on this beach. Played football with a Portuguese family and enjoyed the sea. Afterwards we walked around and choosed between nearby restaurants where this one finally seemed good for our company. Pizza pasta and meat. All seemed good in the beginning and food was tasty. But.. When chewing the lamb file I got an hard piece in my mouth. Like a fish bone! But actually it was a 15mm metal nail (unhas)! I told a waiter who looked at it and gave me a new plate of same food. Unfortunately I forgot to photograph it 😔 Payment time and no compensation or excuse whatsoever. Fiance asked about the feasibility to compensate for it. But the manager said: - I got a new dish with food! That was compensation... 😅 She refused to listen to our advice that normal restaurants would lower price, give free deserts or similar. I said she risked my life and could have died because of this, but then she said she got no explanation of this items source. Still would pay full price even when she will get bad reputation. She also said that 90% of her guests are Portuguese and doesn't cause any trouble. But the English speaking (read: tourist) gave her bad experience. In my country this would been a real post in the news. In u.s I might been rich . But I am happy that I didn't get hurt and hope Noone else will either. Please avoid this lady.
