My mother and I both enjoyed our dinner at O Benfiquista. My veal stew was tender and very tasty. It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. My mother's hake fillet was seasoned and cooked perfectly as well. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We're already planning to come back tomorrow.

Fátima is full of restaurants catering principally to pilgrims, however, even by the name of the restaurant, dedicated to a sports team, you can tell it is mainly for locals. Yet, they do have menus in different languages. The service is friendly and the food deliciously homemade and the prices are cheap. I had the house specialty of tender and fatty (not greasy) pork over potatoes; the possible fattiness of the pork was balanced by the olives and shaved pickled carrots and cabbage. I find that the Potuguese are masters at cooking pork and fish. The homemade layered dessert was also good.

Great food. Great service. We ordered chicken. It was so tender. Flan dessert was so creamy and yummy. Very kind and helpful owner and staff.
