Great experience!! Jorge is a charming person that welcomes and makes you feel at home, while explaining all the bits and tricks of this marvelous art of transforming ocean water into beautiful salt crystals. An experience that you must have while visiting the Algarve.

A great place to see how salt make in traditional way. You can different variety of salts with cheese, tommaro, sprits etc. Owner is nice and friendly. He explain the history of salt industry in Portugal since Roman period.

Salina de produção de sal e sobretudo flor de sal, onde somos convidados pelo proprietário a participar na colheita, tudo com explicações relacionadas com o sal. E não esquecer a prova de berbigão aberto na chapa sobre flor de sal no final!
