STANCE SUP & Kayak Benagil

We booked 4 single SUPs and paid online. On site we were informed that there are are not enough fins for the boards (we needed to wait). There are no leashes for the boards. The single SUPs are aqua marina vapors (good for people up to 60-70 kgs at most). Overall the experience is average at most. The only advantage is the price.

Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait, because they didnt have enough fins for the equipment. As a quite experienced SUP user I was surprised by the fact that they didnt provide leashes for the boards and all of them were the same, regardless of the weight of a user. When I asked for a life jacket I was told that people usually don't use them. No leash, no life jacket - very irresponsible to recommend paddling on the ocean this way.

Very irresponsible service that has no idea about SUPing. I do not recommend.

A pleasant moment of discovery by kayak in Benagil at the end of September. As mentioned in previous reviews, you do have to get off and back up the kayak to the original location, but you just have to open your eyes to understand it. The kayaks have wheels which make the journey easier, and then, nothing like warming up;). If you don't feel physically fit, don't hesitate to go to a rental company on the beach a little further down. However, this rental company offers an honest service for 1h30 at the rate of 30 € for 2 (15 € / pers). It was an exceptional day. ☺️

Alexandre, the manager is the worst case of unprofessionalism I have ever encountered. He clearly laughed at me and showed no understanding. I highly recommend that you hire the kayak rental companies directly on the beach, the price is the same, less aggressive and rude.
