Really good place! People are nice, food is good and fish is fresh. I highly recommend this place! We really enjoyed our dinner even though we couldn't even enjoy the view since it was dark. (Must be amazing with some light). My girlfriend and I even argued 30 minutes prior to that but we still had a good evening (she's annoying).

This place is an absolute treasure. I would recommend this place for dinner, as the view is absolutely stunning. Service and food were top quality! We got there just before the kitchen closed, still they were more than happy to welcome us and help us in choosing local wine and desserts. We had such a great time, that almost no pictures were made. Luckily, I did make one. Bacalhau Confitado is an absolute must! Every bite melted away and the taste combination with the sweet potato puree was delicious!

Yeah, the view is great. It really is. But that is not the best part of Mar experience. Food was amazing. I had a fried baby squid for the starter and tiger prawn for the main. Both were delicious. Wine list is also top of the pops.

Bad cocktail. Bad service. From reviews, the experience seems to depend on your skin colour. Nice location, but don't bother going if you aren't white.
